When was the last time you had popcorn at a movie that had real butter? Upstate gives you the real thing! On top of that they show some really great movies that you won't see anywhere else.

I've always loved Upstate Films. It's one of the best independent cinemas that I've ever been to. I've seen bands perform live to silent films at Upstate, I've seen student films from Bard College, and I've put on a tux and joined their crew for Oscar night! You can always count on their taste! You don't even have to check the listings of what's playing....just go there and buy a ticket. They have the short release gems and the best independent features from all over the world. If you care about film and cinema and you live in the Hudson Valley, do yourself a favor and become a member of Upstate Films. The membership is very reasonable and the films are brilliant. And, oh yeah, they use REAL BUTTER on their popcorn!
