At D Ds, they make their own crust and sauce!
The crust is light and crunchy at the edges, like a good French bread. The sauce is fresh and delicious. As far as I could tell they don't slice their own fresh mushrooms, or it would be just about perfect.
They will put anything on a slice of cheese pizza, unlike most pizzerias who have just a few topping combinations prebaked and tell you "what you see is what you get."
The decor is bare bones, but the place is usually crowded with lots of satisfied customers. And they are very friendly and welcoming.
Take-out and other Italian pasta "dinners" available.
