Searching for decent Italian bread

Yes
I grew up on Long Island and can never find decent bread or rolls in the Hudson Valley. I was plasantly surprised when I stopped in at the Brick Oven while in Hopewell one day. One smell of the place when I strolled in was enough to tell me that I had finally found good crusty Italian bread. I now take a 15 minute drive just for their bread.

Yes
Driving into Hopewell Junction is painful at best. The traffic, traffic patterns and ugly strip malls are tough to take. However, tucked away in one of those malls is Brick Oven Breads. It is a bakery that is primarily a provider to restaurants and other outlets. They do sell retail and their fresh breads and rolls are absolutely the best. I go for the Italian loaves or the baguettes. They are crisply crusted, and ALWAYS very fresh. They also sell pasta. It is worth a drive, even into HJ.
