2 adults, 2 children went to uncle chippies on a saturday evening at about 5pm. We all ordered burger and it took 30 minutes to receive the food. I was watching the clock. The food was great but I have 2 small kids and 30 minutes is just an unacceptable amount of time to wait for a hamburger and fries. I was not expecting macdonalds-fast service because I know these burger are made to order but 30 minutes? Come on. The place was only half full and I knew something was wrong when I walked in and noticed everyone was sitting and waiting for their food.

Hip Hip - Hooray. Hip Hip - Hooray for Uncle Chippies in Red Hook NY. We needed a great burger joint in the Hudson Valley and red hook got it. Uncle Chippies has a unique small slider burger as its main attraction along with cheese fries, fish sandwiches, specialty burgers, double deckers, triple deckers - everything a burger joint should have. It's got style and the theme is just like you remember the local burger joint. This is a welcome change from the stale deli and diner that we all frequent probably a little more than we would like. Uncle Chippies is a great place!
