Subcontracted by Hitchcock & Co for painting & renovations for housing at Vassar College. Took awhile to get paid. Nick finally made good and hand-delivered the check to me in Manhattan.

Repaired 1925 lights/outlets/wiring in the house that had ceased to function. Involved chasing down 3 stories worth of circuits. Was very impressed with the speed of the fix, and the cleanliness of the jobsite upon completion. Very awesome electical company.

The company is efficient and very reliable. We had a call back the same day we left a message. They also showed up on the day they were scheduled & on time. We were impressed by their professional standards and respect for our home. Their pricing was fair and within the quote given. We would definitely recommend them to every one we know.

I was pleasantly surprised with the dedication of this workforce. They really do pride themselves on a clean, neat and efficient job. The type-written estimate turn around time is lightning fast (less than 1 day) and is extremely detailed. AND... They fixed my electronic dimmers. They had been flickering for years. On and off, sometimes would act up for hours straight. This younger group of electricians is swift minded and even faster on thier feet. A must have on your refridgerator call list! They are SURELY on the top of mine. Thanks for the Cabernet Nick!!

General repairs and upgrades

In this last go-round Hitchcock installed receptacles in two bathrooms (for bidet seats) and one in the basement crawl space (for a dehumidifier) and moved a light switch in the attic. While this doesn't sound like much it was a great deal of work under difficult circumstances. Nothing about this was easy and it was all done in one day. How many different ways can you say "excellent job". We've used them three times since moving into this condominium and wouldn't think of using anyone else.

Installed recessed lighting in my 1st finished ceiling flawlessly with no attic.

Hitchcock & Company electric was the best group of home service people I have had yet to deal with. They were always kind, courteous, and polite. They are a little on the expensive side, but not overpriced considering the service they provide. I was impressed, while they were cutting the ceiling they held a vacuum to collect the dust before it even hit the canvas covered floor! If you are looking for a quality job, and punctuality at a fair cost, call them. I noticed its harder to reach them by phone. I suggest emailing them. Happy Contracting!
