I love well prepared food and I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The atmosphere is casual but refined. Great wine selection to go with innovative entrees. The thai beef salad appetizer is really wonderful (but very spicy!!!). I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back as often as I can.

Granted I went when Aroi Thai first opened in Rhinebeck, but I found the food to be mediocre at best. They ran out of the entree that I ordered but didn't realize until everyone else was served, so they basically put raw vegetables into one of the curry sauces and charged full price. The prices are a bit high for what you get. Unfortunately this is the only Thai restaurant in this area which should make it popular, but I don't think that will make me return.

I find the food at Luna 61 in Tivoli to be inconsistant. I have had some great meals here and some really bad ones that were over-garlicked and over salted. I think it helps to know what items on the menu are consistently better. I would recommend the salad rolls, scallion pancakes and the various rice noodle bowls. I like that Luna has an organic wine choice by the glass.
